#LaxCon 2015 Recap

Wow, another amazing year at The US Lacrosse Convention in the books, and Universal Lacrosse was fortunate enough to see what was up! If you’ve never had the opportunity to make it to LaxCon, I highly recommend it. LaxCon is crawling with a who’s who of the lacrosse community. Maybe you brushed shoulders with All-World midfielder Paul Rabil, or bumped into World Record holder Zach Dorn, perhaps you passed right pros like Ken Clausen, Greg “Beast” Gurenlian, Drew Adams, Billy Bitter and Felix Nyeko of Team Uganda. Maybe you wanted to catch the MLL Draft that happened on Friday night, LaxCon had you covered. There were countless clinics and seminars for coaches and players alike. Our favorite part is of course, the new and exciting products we get to check out at LaxCon every year. Everything from new mesh, heads, shaft technologies and hemets wraps! We personally had fun at all the stringing booths, which included Jimlax, East Coast Mesh, and StringKing. We were also fortunate enough to check out the new Ares head from Joule Lacrosse, which had some amazing features! Whatever the case, LaxCon is the Graceland for laxrats around the globe. Being able to bounce ideas around with some of the greatest minds in the lacrosse world and finally being able to a face to names that we in the lacrosse world deal with on a daily basis is a priceless experience.
