"The Apex has great weight and balance to it with a smaller handle that allows more control. The head has a great shape that allows for a mid-high pocket with quick release. This stick can also do well on the draw circle. It's an investment into a high quality tool and as a coach I recommend this stick often."

Fantastic all-around stick and head, but pocket check, anyone?

"After a good amount of research and discussion with older teammates, my daughter elected to go with the Apex as the stick and head to use for her first year of high school lacrosse (she's played since she was 5). She and I were very pleased and impressed by the feather-weight shaft and head design that clearly was going to make scooping ground balls a breeze, but when we looked at the the pre-molded pocket, we almost thought it was strung for a men's head. Checking with a ball, the deep pocket was BARELY legal right out of the box, and the position of the center channel and shooting strings created a huge whip. My daughter was able to tighten up the pocket and adjust the shooting strings, and the stick is now lighting up the back of the net. She is very happy with it and it's now her #1 wand. However, the initial package created some frustration and disappointment when the stick first arrived."
