At 11:57 today, Inside Lacrosse made a post on Instagram that got all the Maverik fanatics, including myself, fired up. Although they didn’t reveal any sneak peak images, @il_gear provided descriptive information in the caption that paints a beautiful picture for the new Maverik Lacrosse Centrik Lacrosse Head. Take a look:

Second Look!!
Maverik’s release of the Centrik will add to the great line of heads they offer. They boast its dominance on both offense and defense. With the ball, I felt great control of and was able to whip the head around getting my shot up to 94 (personal best)! Without the ball, this head is strong enough to deliver a yard sale check. The new 3-strut design allows this head to very light while maintaining its stiffness. Because of its versatility, midfielders, like myself, will flock to this head the most—also drawing attention from attackmen and d-poles.
If you love mid-high pockets as much as I do, then you’ll fall in love with the Centrik head. Maverik incorporated a Level 4 Bottom Rail in this head that caters to mid-high pockets. I noticed that the rail and sidewall hole placement allow for a natural formation of a mid-high pocket when you string. I had no trouble getting the pocket to form right where I wanted it. Don’t worry, there are plenty of sidewall holes for other custom pockets.
Maverik makes the Centrik in the USA, using incarnating premium materials. In additional appreciation of the nation, they release this bad boy on July 4th. They have come a long way in the head category basically creating one of the most sought after heads in the industry this year with the OPTIK and we also still a huge fan of the METRIK. This head is another huge leap forward in design and playability. We will be counting down until the Fireworks that reveal the Centrik.
