PLL Lacrosse - Week 5 Preview

Premier Lacrosse League logo.png Week 5 of the PLL season kicks off this weekend. The games will take place in Atlanta at Georgia State Stadium. All the games this weekend are expected to be good matchups. In the first month of the PLL’s existence it is clear that the talent across the league is well distributed. The first game will take place on Friday at 8pm and will feature Archers vs Atlas, then Saturday will be two games starting with Chrome vs Chaos at 1pm then Whipsnakes vs Redwoods after that first game ends. Archers are on a two game losing streak and need to win if they want a good seed for the PLL playoffs. Atlas is coming off of a game where they let in 9 goals in the fourth quarter. Atlas has one of the top goalies in the game in Jack Concannon while the archers have a well balanced offense that picks their shots well. Both teams are desperate for a rebound victory. This is definitely a game you won't want to miss. Chaos vs Chrome should be a very fast pace game as both teams love to push the ball early when they get the ball. Chaos is known for their ability to score on fast breaks and from the two point line. This is a game that could be decided by goalie John Galloway for the Chrome. If he plays to his ability and makes those saves from the outside Chrome will have a good chance to win this game. The last game will be feature the undefeated Whipsnakes and the Redwoods with their new addition in Jules Heningburg. Although the Redwoods have lost two games, they looked like a new team last week after making that blockbuster trade. Heningburg will be playing with some extra motivation too as the Whipsnakes was where he was traded from. This is one of the biggest storylines currently in the game and It will be interesting to watch the rest of it unfold on Saturday to cap off the PLL event in Atlanta.
