Maverik Lacrosse is back at it again! with the recent release of the
A1 Lacrosse Shaft and the
WonderBoy 2017 Shaft releasing earlier this past week, I was more than thrilled to get my hands on them!
First up, the
A1.. as the kids would say, it is "A1." the updated 2017 version is sporting a light weight Scandium alloy and incorporates
Mavrik's GritGrip tech to provide suitable grip in all weather conditions. The adjustable butt end improves hand placement and the speed shape of the shaft itself provides a quicker release and smoother hand-to-hand transitions on dodges.
Next is the
WonderBoy, the 2017 update of a fan favorite offers
Maverik's Signature Series Shape which makes it a little more durable and rigid than most shafts. Wait, did I mention that its actually 10% lighter than the last model at the same time?! Like the
A1 mentioned above, this also rocks the adjustable butt end for improved hand placement and stability. The matte black finish of the stick gives it an amazing look and feel. One of my favorites as a young laxer and this updated version doesn't let me down!
